About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team, responsible for maintaining Accounts Payable and our expense system, reconciling accounts, and assisting with the month-end close process. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong accounting skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
What You Will Do:
- Support day-to-day accounting functions and complete special projects
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Assisting the Accounting team with resolving complex accounting and reconciliation issues
- Responsibility for A/P, A/R and T&E reporting
- Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare month-end journal entries for prepaid, accruals, fixed asset, intercompany eliminations, etc.
- Preparing account reconciliations and resolving accounting discrepancies
- Assist with month-end/year-end closing processes, including financial statement preparation and vendor and contractor documentation
- Complete bank account reconciliations and prepare cash management entries
- Assist with annual financial statement audit, including audit schedule preparation and responding to audit inquiries
- Working on ad hoc projects and reporting as deemed necessary
- Obsessive attention to detail, seek ways to improve and promote quality, monitor own work to ensure accuracy
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Daily ownership of treasury function including processing intercompany and financing related wires along with funding NACHA file support.
- Responsibility for areas of month-end close
- Continuously recommend ideas for greater department/company efficiency
Who You Are:
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience that includes the day-to-day work, month end work, and bank reconciliations
- Meticulous in journal entries and consistently delivering compliant financial operations.
- Can rapidly learn and integrate emerging technologies effectively.
- Loan accounting experience a plus.
- Dedicated to process improvement and operations efficiency.
- Familiar with Bill.com, DIVVY, and NetSuite a huge plus.

Salary:
The salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000 a year. DigniFi salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the base pay offered may vary within the range depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to work location, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience. Please note that the compensation details listed in postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonuses or benefits.
