About the Role:
The Full-Stack Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end software development across both backend and frontend layers, ensuring performance, security, and a seamless user experience. Preference is given to candidates located in the Atlanta, Georgia, Denver, Colorado, and Dallas/ Fort Worth, Texas areas. Part of the interview process will require an in-person interview in one of these locations. This position is remote.
Salary:
The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $140,000 a year. DigniFi salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the base pay offered may vary within the range depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to work location, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience. This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bring our applications to life through well-architected code and user-friendly interfaces.
What You Will Do:
Backend Development:
- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs.
- Clean and Efficient Code: Write modular, reusable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Data Structures & Algorithms: Leverage data structures and algorithms for optimized performance and scalability.
- Database Management: Proficient in MySQL, database design, optimization, and writing complex queries.
- Microservices & DevOps: Build and manage microservices using Kubernetes and Docker. Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- AWS Cloud Services: Utilize core AWS services (SQS/SNS, EC2, S3) and best practices to build reliable, scalable infrastructure.
- Event-Driven Architecture: Work with Event Driven Architecture (EDA) to manage asynchronous data and event processing.
Frontend Development:
- User Interface Implementation: Design and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility & Performance: Ensure applications are optimized for performance and compatibility across browsers.
- Frontend Frameworks & Languages: Develop with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React to create dynamic user experiences.
- Responsive Design & Optimization: Apply responsive design techniques and optimize for mobile and various screen sizes.
- Advanced Animations & UX/UI Principles: Integrate advanced animations and adhere to UX/UI best practices to enhance user interactions.
- Design Systems: Collaborate on design system consistency, contributing to the development and maintenance of reusable components.
General Engineering:
- Code Reviews & Testing: Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and best practices and implement testing strategies to maintain software reliability.
- Requirement Analysis & Prioritization: Analyze project requirements, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development activities, ensuring clarity and continuity.
- Continuous Learning & Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and continuously improve skills through learning.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in backend languages like Java, Ruby on Rails, or Python, with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong experience in frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (SQS/SNS, EC2, S3) and deployment on cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and best practices in DevOps.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and frontend performance optimization.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and basic design systems.
- Experience in event-driven systems and asynchronous processing.
- Certification in AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus.
